My husband and I went there for lunch today, we ordered menu 3, menu 2 was served to us seriously and without a smile. There was no smile at all in this restaurant. The food was very good but we won't be going back.

Super delicious food in large portions and side dishes at an unbeatable price. Great in combination with a staircase climbed to the Turmberg and then a great meal as a reward :)

Wide menu, and the menu idea is also very nice. Unfortunately, the dishes did not deliver anymore: everything tasted pretty monotonous, whether vegetables or lam. Soup and dessert from the menu were really bad: the soup tasted like bag soup with vegetables, the dessert to the canteen.

We found the selection of the drinks great! I found the offer extremely pleasant. The table decorations on the tables and in the entire restaurant are reasonable and aesthetic. The toilet is always clean and all in all the place gives a great impression. Fast and nice service. I think all the staff there did a good job.

Nice Indian restaurant with in few meters from the Durlach Turmberg tram station. Tried vegetarian dishes and we loved it, friendly staff, they listen to you and check on what you prefer, liked it.Given that we went there on a 14th Feb evening, it was full, but they accommodated us and served us well. If you are in Karlsruhe or durlach area and want to try Indian food, would recommend this restaurant.??

Fantastic and reasonably priced Indian restaurant. Authentically spiced food, fast and friendly service, tasty chutneys served with the starter Papadums. Easily one of the best Indian restaurants we visited in Germany. All topped off by a tastefully decorated restaurant. Thanks for producing quality food and caring about the customer. I can only recommend the location. We were warmly welcomed and served very well. The food was excellent and fully met our expectations. Although the place was well attended, we didn't have to wait long for the drinks or the food.

I've been holding off on this review. Went there on the 27th of November. Walking in you get the feel of just languishing in a stagnent room. The service is unfriendly, depressing at best. The menu to hold in your hand is old, dirty, run down like the rest of the place. The chicken chilli is just simply deep fried chicken breast with Texas Petes poured on top. Don't go if you like Indian food. You will be depressed...

First time I came, the lamb vindaloo was very spicy - just as I requested. Second time, despite the same request, it wasn’t as spicy as the first time so I like it less. But out of 2 Indian restaurants in Karlsruhe I tried, I like this better. The spices are as strong as I remember how it should when I eat in Asia but not overwhelming and very balanced. Service was great, cute little place, neat and clean albeit a bit dark.

Food is great but inspite of having a reservation we were made to wait. Although this is understandable, the staff was rude in letting us know that we might have to wait.

Great Indian food very authentic. It's not too spicy for European taste, you can ask for I it though. It's great for lunch with quick service and a reasonable priced lunch menu. Best chicken tikka marsala I've had, not on the lunch menu but more than worth it.

Delicious Indian food. There is plenty of choice and menus for all tastes. The Maharani Palace is almost an institution in Durlach. There are enough seats, even for larger groups. However, it is not air conditioned, which is why you sweat in the summer, especially if you eat spicy.

Food taste is good, service also good, worth for money

Food is ok. Unfortunately, this restaurant is more of a European-Indian than an Indian. Say the food was heavily Europeanized by the spices ago. Not recommended is the starter plate for 2 people. If you prefer to order individual starters, then it has a wider range in terms of taste. In Mangolassi there could be more mango in it.

Probably the best Indian restaurant in Karlsruhe. The food is authentic and the staff is so welcoming. I can only recommend it.

Very good and above all inexpensive Indian in Durlach. The interior is functional but comfortable. The staff friendly and attentive. Here you will definitely be full!

It feels like centuries since I have eaten here for the first time. It also was my first time trying Indian Food and it was delicious. The restaurant is the reason I keep on trying Indian restaurants in different countries despite having had mixed experiences inbetween. I just know how it can taste.

Pretty decent for an Indian atmosphere. The place was a little dull but the food was awesome.
